Computer Support Specialist
Join a dynamic team at one of the best educational institutions in the country. This team is dedicated to providing exceptional computer support services. We are seeking a skilled professional to resolve software, hardware, and network issues, offering technical assistance to a diverse range of customers and support specialists. This role involves supporting both Windows and Mac OS platforms, ensuring seamless operation in a variety of environments.
This is a contract position, offering a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends. This is a 100% onsite position in Columbus, OH. All candidates must be local to the Columbus, OH metro area for consideration.
Required Experience
- 3+ years of experience in desktop support, with hands-on experience supporting laptops, PCs, and peripheral devices.
- Proficiency in supporting both Windows and Mac OS environments.
- Experience with audio/visual equipment used in teaching, meeting, and event spaces.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently, taking initiative when necessary.
- Organized and systematic approach to managing information and documentation.
Desired Skills
- Experience with network troubleshooting
- Familiarity with classroom technology installations or educational environments
- Leadership capabilities in managing projects and assignments.
