Our esteemed program is eager to expand its team of gastroenterologists at an academically affiliated hospital. Following years of growth and increased patient volume, this collaborative nonprofit group is looking for general gastroenterologists to enhance their team. The healthcare system serves as a significant teaching affiliate of a prestigious Ivy League institution, regularly hosting medical students and offering four residency programs in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, General Surgery, and Obstetrics/Gynecology.

New physicians will benefit from a well-rounded mix of clinical procedures and outpatient care in a supportive environment equipped with advanced technology, robust referral networks, and opportunities for academic involvement. Position Highlights:

• Become part of a close-knit team of four gastroenterologists
• Preference for general gastroenterologists, but all subspecialties are welcome
• Noncompetitive and collaborative work environment
• Combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities

• Monday to Friday schedule featuring a blend of clinic and procedures

Weeknight Call:

• Shared call of 1:8
• Typically limited to urgent cases such as GI bleeding or food impactions
• Approximately one call-in every 6-7 nights
• Endoscopy-trained staff available for assistance

Weekend Call:

• Rounding plus approximately 1-2 cases per day
• Average hospital time: 3-4 hours per day
