Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Department

Location

Conroe, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio across a 30-bed unit with additional hall beds
• Perform NIH stroke assessments, IV placement, and blood draws
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation and TNK therapy
• Perform cardiac monitoring and operate equipment including Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, and portable EKG machines
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate as a team player within a multidisciplinary staff including charge nurses, paramedics, and LVNs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC certification
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Demonstrated compassion and empathy in a high-acuity emergency care environment
