Albuquerque Bible Church (Albuquerque, NM) is searching for a full-time Lead Pastor. The church is a non-denominational, non-charismatic, traditional Bible-believing fellowship located in the north Valley of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The church exists to honor and glorify God by obeying Jesus' command to make disciples of all people groups. The church's mission is to reach the community and beyond with the good news that Jesus saves, teach believers through the Bible how to love God and love their neighbors as themselves, and send those believers back out into the world to share with others the story of how Jesus saved them. The core values of the church include foundational biblical authority, Christ-centered living, dependency on God, prayer, equipping believers for a passion-driven, gift-based ministry, missions, loving relationships, traditional worship, Bible study, and strengthening families.
The qualifications for the Lead Pastor include having a good reputation among church members, being a faithful husband, using wise judgment in church and home, showing graciousness to others and being welcoming to church visitors, being able to teach expository and topical lessons, shunning alcohol, tobacco, and drugs, acting as a peacemaker, not being a lover of money, being a godly family leader that has the respect of his wife and children, having a proven leadership track record in his community with at least 5 years leadership experience in a Christian organization or 3 years experience as a Pastor in an evangelical church, and being an ordained minister from a reputable organization or church that agrees to abide within the Constitution and By Laws of the Albuquerque Bible Church.
