Cook Mid-Day
SAGE Dining Services is seeking an experienced Cook at a private boarding school for the upcoming school year. Here, you will prepare high-quality meals from scratch in large quantities, so someone with previous experience in institutional food service, as well as in Asian and international cuisine, would be ideal.
A boarding school cook prepares nutritious, large-scale meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) for students and staff, ensuring high sanitation standards, inventory management, and dietary compliance. Key responsibilities include cooking from menus, operating kitchen equipment, and maintaining food safety (HACCP).
Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 1 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Available overtime for catering events.

$25.00 - $28.00 Hourly

- Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes, safety, and allergen policies that exceed our guests' expectations.
- Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
- Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.
- Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HACCP).
- Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen.
- Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English.
- Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner.
