Louisville Tile of Knoxville is seeking an Account Executive with local market knowledge to cultivate relationships with the dealer and commercial community. This role is responsible for creating, executing, and tracking a result oriented strategic sales plan that will develop a geographic territory within the Dealer/Commercial market and Builder Channel. Account Executives are responsible for identifying potential customers within a market, and prospect, profile, cultivate, and close new clients that meet Louisville Tile standards and criteria. This role is responsible for achieving target metrics in terms of activity, sales production, product diversification and penetration, customer service, and gross profit in order to achieve the company’s sales targets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify qualified prospects
• Profile prospects to identify need
• Ability to problem solve and sell consultatively
• Manage a pipeline to successful closing
• Ability to price and sell within Gross Profit targets
• Proactive tracking of projects from bidding to close
• Service existing customers
• Balance between new business development and service of existing customers
• Work on special initiatives as assigned or needed to meet corporate goals
• Ability to be decisive and manage a book to highest payoff priorities
• Work to a plan that is strategic, constantly reviewed and evolving, and hit goal
• Ability to develop a niche channel and cultivate relationships
• Be involved with the commercial quoting process
• Monitoring order register and managing projects with long lead times
