Maintenance Planner

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Planning and Execution
• Develop and implement maintenance plans for the plant's equipment, including machinery, conveyors, batch plants, and other infrastructure.
• Preventative Maintenance
• Oversee and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
• Repair and Troubleshooting
• Address equipment failures, diagnose issues, and coordinate repairs, either directly or through a team of mechanics.
• Inventory Management
• Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment.
• Supervision and Training
• Supervise maintenance staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
• Quality and Safety
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulations, and that equipment is maintained to the highest quality standards.
• Budget Management
• Manage the maintenance budget effectively, ensuring cost-effective repairs and maintenance.
• Communication and Collaboration
• Communicate effectively with plant management, production staff, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Reporting and Record Keeping
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment failures, and repairs.
• Vendor Management
• Develop relationships with maintenance vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery of parts and supplies.
• Continuous Improvement
• Identify areas for improvement in maintenance practices and procedures to optimize equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
