Job Summary The Mental Health Therapist will work part‑time (3 days per week) at the new Boston clinic located at 200 Seaport Blvd, Boston, MA 02210. The role is integrated into our interdisciplinary health and wellness centers to optimize whole‑person health and wellness. The Mental Health Therapist will counsel individuals, couples, families, and groups, and provide mental health consultation within the health center and to the assigned Crossover client organization. Start date: September. Job Responsibilities Collaborate with allied health professionals to facilitate and support positive mental health change. Apply experience and training in employer settings, including presenting psycho‑educational programs, promoting services, consulting to the organization, and leading critical incident debriefing sessions. Use a variety of assessment and intervention techniques to address mental health problems. Understand HIPAA requirements for mental health records and substance abuse records; maintain appropriate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Review clinical data and make recommendations for programmatic changes, acquisition of clinical tools, and opportunities for collaboration and innovation to maximize favorable clinical outcomes while minimizing medical costs. Perform case management when service needs (such as higher level of care) exceed the scope of practice. Follow the code of ethics associated with the licensing body of the therapist’s respective certification. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a license in good standing during employment. Minimum 5 years related clinical experience serving patients across the mental health, family relationships, addiction and recovery, and work‑related spectrum. Proficiency in evidence‑based treatments (e.g., CBT, ACT, and DBT). Graduate of an APA‑accredited program. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Preferred Qualifications Ability to inspire respect, trust, and confidence. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including expertise with presentation skills. Ability to establish therapeutic alliances and rapport with a diverse patient population. Ability to make independent decisions in accordance with established policies and procedures while collaborating within a team framework. Proficient computer and technology skills. Physical Job Requirements May require standing, walking, and sitting for extended amounts of time. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. Manual and finger dexterity and hand‑eye coordination required. Required corrected vision, hearing, and speech within normal ranges. Must effectively communicate with patients and team members.
