Join us!Ask us about our Sign-On Bonus of up to $15,000*!Relocation Assistance Eligible for Qualified TechnologistsLocation: Germantown, MDHours: Full Time, Monday-FridayCompensation Range: $45.00-$55.00 commensurate with experienceDepartment Highlights:Patient-Focused TeamCohesive and Friendly EnvironmentSupportive and Encouraging AtmosphereA Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist:Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis WayConsistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;Here is what you will need:Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography;ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible;Current on all required continuing education and continuing experience as required by MQSA and ARRT;Must possess non-restricted licensure in state work location;Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software is preferred;Two years of experience in mammography is preferred;Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred;Prior quality control experience preferred;Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology;Ability to stand for long periods of timeWhy Washington Radiology?A Great Place to Work for the fourth year in a row!Offer competitive benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Paid Holidays, Backup Child/Adult Care as well as other unique benefits.*Sign-On Bonus is applicable to current qualified Mammography Technologists (ARRT (M)).
