The Metal Printing Lead plays a vital role in our mission to deliver customized, reliable orthodontic solutions that support superior patient outcomes. What You'll Do

• Lead and support the daily operations of the Metal Printing Department, ensuring production schedules and deadlines are consistently met in a timely manner. You will manage workflow, assign tasks, and maintain a steady pace to support multiple orthodontic labs served by this department.
• Train and coach team members on metal printing processes, machine operation, and quality standards, fostering a positive and collaborative environment where continuous learning is encouraged. Your leadership will help develop skills and confidence within the team.
• Prepare digital design files on the computer and operate specialized metal sintering printers, overseeing the entire printing process from start to finish. You will monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth production runs.
• Use dedicated tool to carefully remove printed orthodontic appliance bands from the printing plate, followed by operating a large lathe machine to clean and restrip metal plates for the next print cycle. This hands-on work requires precision and attention to detail.
• Inspect printed products for quality and accuracy before release, ensuring all orthodontic appliances meet the exacting standards required by dental professionals. You will maintain accurate production records and adhere to established workflows to support efficiency and traceability.

What You'll Bring

• A strong sense of self-direction and initiative, allowing you to work effectively with minimal supervision while managing deadlines and production demands. People who thrive in this role are proactive and take ownership of their responsibilities.
• Comfort and confidence working both on computers and with hands-on machinery, including experience or willingness to learn 3D metal printers and large lathe machines. If you have a background in trades, manufacturing, or technical hands-on work, you will find many transferable skills valuable here.
