As a Surveillance & Access Control Technician III, you will be part of the Facilities Support Department supporting security and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical knowledge, confidence in problem-solving, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Surveillance & Access Control Technician III Location: Madison, WI Pay Range: What's the Job? Provide documentation, project tracking, and management reporting for security systems. Support surveillance, network, and server systems with extensive troubleshooting and maintenance. Assist in the design, planning, installation, and support of security and building automation systems. Configure and monitor network devices, surveillance equipment, and related infrastructure across multiple locations. Work independently on complex tasks, ensuring compliance with security protocols and documentation standards. What's Needed? At least 3 years of experience with Cisco networking (routers & switches). 1 to 2 years of experience with web filtering technologies such as Palo Alto and Zscaler. 1 to 2 years of experience with video surveillance systems, including network, server, and workstation support. Knowledge of door controls and building automation is a plus. Willingness to work in a hybrid schedule, including on-site support at secure facilities and occasional travel. What's in it for me?
