Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience developing web applications using React.js
- Solid understanding of JavaScript and modern front-end development principles
- Experience integrating with C#/.NET APIs
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Experience building applications with modern state management and stateless architecture concepts
- Understanding of application security best practices and HIPAA-compliant development
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with ASP.NET Core
- Full-stack development experience
- Exposure to Python development
- Experience working on healthcare, patient access, scheduling, or provider directory applications
- Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
- Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools or AI-augmented programming
Job Description:
A leading healthcare system in Georgia is seeking a Front-End Developer to support the implementation of a new enterprise Provider Search and Scheduling platform. This individual will be responsible for building intuitive patient-facing experiences that allow users to search for providers, view availability, and schedule appointments seamlessly across the health system. This opportunity supports a highly visible digital transformation initiative. The client is looking for candidates interested in a long-term career opportunity who can contribute beyond the initial implementation and help drive future enhancements to the platform. While this role is front-end focused, candidates should understand how modern web applications interact with APIs and backend services.
Day to Day:
- Develop and enhance patient-facing provider search and scheduling functionality
- Build responsive, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces using React
- Integrate front-end applications with backend APIs and scheduling systems
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and backend engineers to develop new features
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and Agile development activities
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
- Contribute to the long-term roadmap and evolution of the provider search platform
