Shuttle Driver

Job Details Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time & Part-time Location: El Monte, Bellflower, CA Shift & Schedule: Mornings and Evenings, Weekends & Holidays Must Have: CDL, 3 Years Driver's License Applications will be accepted until the job is closed. Job Responsibilities Drive the shuttle bus and transport customers to and from the facility. Greet passengers and assist with loading and unloading. Operate the shuttle bus safely and efficiently, complying with all traffic and safety regulations. Monitor vehicle condition and record malfunctions or damages on appropriate forms. Communicate with dispatchers, drivers, and other employees via two‑way radio to announce arrivals, delays, and coordinate pickups. Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the shuttle bus at the beginning and end of each shift. Monitor traffic and weather conditions, notifying dispatch or supervisor of potential problems. Report accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor. Treat all customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner. Requirements At least 18 years old. Valid driver's license with a minimum of 3 years driving experience. Ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently. Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends. Energized, outgoing, and capable of standing, running, and carrying items up to 50 lbs when needed. Excellent written and spoken communication skills with a friendly, professional approach. Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can resolve customer issues positively. Good to Have 1+ year of customer service experience. 1+ year of experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle. The employee may occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 lbs. Work Environment: The employee may face weather conditions at the time of work, be exposed to fumes and airborne particles, and encounter a noise level ranging from minimal to moderate.
