Care Manager

Role Overview The Lead Caregiver serves as a shift leader in senior care, ensuring high-quality, consistent resident care while supporting and coaching the caregiving team. They manage shift assignments, oversee attendance, and coordinate coverage to maintain smooth operations. The role involves providing hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADL), reviewing charting to align with Individualized Service Plans (ISP), and monitoring resident changes to communicate concerns promptly. Key Responsibilities Include Leading shift operations and managing team coverage Supporting residents with ADL support as needed Coaching caregivers on quality standards, hospitality, and documentation Reviewing resident documentation and monitoring health changes Mentoring new team members and promoting safety and compliance Ensuring effective shift handoffs and adherence to policies Qualifications And Skills High School Diploma/GED and at least 18 years old CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care setting This role combines hands-on caregiving with frontline leadership, emphasizing professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service.
