Scrum Lead & Project Manager – Data Security Program

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Lead & Project Manage r to support a critical Data Security Progra m focused on cybersecurity, identity management, risk mitigation, and compliance initiatives. This hybrid role combines Agile leadership with traditional project management, ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of security-focused projects across the organization

.The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in both Scrum and Project Management, with experience leading security initiatives while collaborating across technical, security, and business teams to achieve strategic and regulatory objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Leadership & Delivery Management

Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives

Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and delivery commitments

Drive project execution while balancing Agile methodologies with structured project governance

⚠️ Identify, track, and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and impediments

Monitor progress and provide clear reporting on project status, metrics, and key deliverables.

Security Program & Project Execution

Partner with Security, IT, Risk, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to define project scope, priorities, and success criteria.

️ Lead delivery across Identity & Access Management (IAM) and broader security workstreams.

Coordinate activities across multiple teams to ensure alignment with security objectives, business priorities, and compliance requirements.

Drive execution of cybersecurity initiatives that strengthen organizational security posture and operational resilience.

✅ Ensure projects remain aligned with regulatory, governance, and security standards.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

Serve as a key liaison between technical teams, security leaders, business stakeholders, and executive management.

Provide transparent communication regarding project health, risks, milestones, and delivery outcomes.

Facilitate decision-making and alignment across cross-functional teams.

Deliver concise status reporting and actionable insights to support leadership visibility and governance.

Qualifications

✔️ Proven experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or in a hybrid Scrum Master/PM role. Strong background leading security-focused projects, including:CybersecurityIdentity & Access Management (IAM)Risk Management Security Compliance & Governance

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

Agile Certification (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent) is required. Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments preferred.

Compensation

Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000 per year
