You’ll teach in a Setting 3 classroom with a focused caseload of approximately 6-10 students, primarily supporting those with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The school values collaborative and experienced educators skilled in managing the dynamics of a cluster setting and tailoring interventions to unique learning profiles.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current state teaching license; ABS credential accepted, but EBD (Emotional/Behavioral Disorders) or ASD preferred
• Must hold an ASD or DCD endorsement; Tier 3 or 4 licensure required
• Experience working with DCD, ASD, or EBD students in a Setting 3 or cluster environment
• Strong understanding of individualized instruction, behavior intervention, and multi-modal communication strategies
• Commitment to inclusive education and team collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals for students with complex needs
• Create a positive, structured learning space and establish effective classroom routines
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service staff, and families to maximize student growth
• Collect data, document progress, and actively participate in IEP meetings
• Foster social, behavioral, and academic success using evidence-based strategies
