Pharmacists with inpatient hospital experience are needed to support pharmacy operations at a major medical center in Torrance, CA. This contract opportunity offers a flexible schedule working variable days and afternoons, with four 10-hour shifts per week.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• PGY1 residency completion or about 2 years of current inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of inpatient pharmacy workflow
• Ability to pass a pharmacy competency exam on the first attempt (required)
• Successfully clear a Livescan background check
• Flexibility to work variable day and afternoon shifts (4 days per week, 10 hours each)

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying and dispensing medications in the inpatient hospital setting
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective drug therapy
• Maintaining documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Participating in quality assurance and pharmacy operations initiatives

Schedule:
