Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license in the state of Michigan
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
• Document progress, maintain thorough records, and comply with all regulatory guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and contribute to school-wide initiatives
• Educate and support staff and families regarding speech and language strategies that enhance student learning
