Travel RN - Cath Lab/EP

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring at least 5 years of cath lab experience including structural heart, vascular, and emergent cases, plus a CA RN license.

Job Details

• Work in the Cath Lab unit of an acute care hospital,
• Cath lab caseload includes structural heart, vascular, diagnostic, impella, ECMO, and emergent cath cases,
• Day shift, 5x8s, Monday through Friday, with start times of 7am or 8am,
• Call required 2 days per week along with 1-2 weekends per month,
• Uses EPIC EMR,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required,
• Minimum of 5 years of cath lab experience required,
• EPIC experience required,
• BLS certification required,
• ACLS or ALS certification required,
• BSN preferred,
• Prior acute care facility experience preferred,

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process,
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines,
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and caring treatment,
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care,
• Provide health education to patients, families, and treatment team members,
• Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered,
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel pay,
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered,
• Candidates with any prior adverse action on their license will not be considered
