Overview Job Announcement The City of Chandler Cultural Arts Department is seeking qualified individuals for the role of Cultural Arts Production Senior . The position requires a varied schedule with inconsistent days off and frequent nights and weekends. Current City of Chandler employees may hold only one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler. Located in downtown Chandler, the Center features three performance spaces: the 1500-seat Steena Murray Mainstage, the 350-seat Hal Bogle Theatre, and the 250-seat Recital Hall. The Chandler Cultural Foundation presents arts programs at the Chandler Center for the Arts and in the community. Who we are looking for We are seeking individuals with a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration, and with experience in audio, lighting, scenery and rigging systems in applicable stage or event work. Minimum qualifications An Associate's Degree in Theatrical Lighting, Audio Engineering or a related field; and 2 years of experience with audio, lighting, scenery and rigging systems in applicable stage or event work; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work. Desired qualifications Knowledge of LED, moving lights and theatrical lighting systems; ability to program lighting consoles. Experience operating, configuring, and mixing live shows on Yamaha Rivage, QL, and DM Series digital mixing consoles. Proficiency with Dante Controller software. Able to work independently and proactively prioritize daily tasks and organizational goals. Works well with diverse clients, colleagues, and user groups; consistently makes customer service a top priority. This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
