Job Description
Join Our Dynamic Team as a Med Rehab RN!

Job Description:


- Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Hours: 48hrs or 36hrs accepted
- Schedules Available: 3x12hr NIGHTS or 4x12hr NIGHTS
- Work Requirements: Weekdays, every other weekend, float as needed

Unit Highlights:
- Total Beds: 24
- Patient Focus: Cerebrovascular disease, traumatic brain injury, amputees, spinal cord injuries, deconditioning, neurological diseases
- Team Approach: Each patient has a dedicated care team, including a physiatrist, NP, nurse, 2 therapists, and a social worker.
- Therapy: Extensive collaboration with therapy teams for 3 hours a day, M-F
- Length of Stay: Average of around 2 weeks per patient

Orientation:
- Held every other week on Thursday

Certifications Required:
- BLS (AHA certified)
- Acute care rehab preferred

Staffing Ratio:
- Days: 1:4/5
- Nights: 1:5/6

Experience Needed:
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- 1 year in specialty experience preferred
- Charge experience preferred

Additional Information:
- First-timers accepted
- Every other weekend required
- No call requirement
- Open to accommodating block schedule requests
- Must have a WV/Compact RN License active to start (can submit with pending license)
- No RTO restrictions; must include requests on application

Patient Diagnoses:
- SCI, TBI, STROKE, AMPUTATION, NEUROMUSCULAR DX, SEVERE DECONDITIONING R/T CARDIAC OR RESPIRATORY EVENT

Submission Requirements:
- Perm employees must not return as travelers for 2 years after last day worked as perm
- Flu Vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Full candidate profile required for submission, including:
- Work history
- Specialty-specific skills checklist
- Minimum 2 Manager/Charge references (within past 2 years)
- RN License verification
- Driver's License and SSN
