Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Mullica Hill, NJ

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Nights 12 (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) with every other weekend or 3 weekends per month depending on needs.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department environment. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department.
• Assess patient conditions and needs accurately and promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and discharge instructions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Three (3) years of recent Emergency Department experience required.
• BSN is required.
• Travel experience required (must have completed at least one contract assignment).
• High volume/fast pace experience preferred.
• Epic experience is required.
• Current NJ License or Compact License.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are required (pending certifications or those expiring within 30 days of submission are not accepted).
