Veterinary ReceptionistMaplewood Veterinary Center is hiring a full-time or part-time veterinary receptionist to be the first point of contact for our veterinary clients, playing a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Take the time you need to rechargeSalary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.Schedule: Monday - Friday availability 7:15 am to 5:15 pmKey ResponsibilitiesGreet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms.Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments.Answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups.Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior.Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.QualificationsPrevious experience as a veterinary receptionist or medical office assistant preferredStrong organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanorAbout Maplewood Veterinary CenterWe strive to provide compassionate care with a focus on preventative and wellness care.
