Legal Administrative Assistant

Carlton Fields is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant for its Miami office. This position will support Shareholders, Of Counsel, and Associates in a busy downtown office.

Qualifications:

• Candidates will have at least 2 years of commercial real estate experience.
• Must demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, initiative, flexibility, organizational skills, client service skills, and the ability to be proactive.
• Must possess mastery of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Filesite is preferred.
• The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on business needs is essential.

Duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting attorneys in preparing, proofreading, and revising documents
• Maintaining files and records using iManage and traditional means
• Preparing closing binders in accordance with client requirements
• Submitting Business Intake and Conflicts requests
• Time entry, client billing, and submission of expense statements
• Backup coverage, as necessary

Actual salaries will vary depending upon various factors, including relevant experience and skillset. The salary range listed is just one component of the Carlton Fields total compensation package for employees.
