CGP: Interim CFO

We are looking for an experienced strategic CFO with substantial nonprofit sector experience, and with a diverse revenue mix, including public and private sources. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of nonprofit experience, a CPA, and A-133 single audit experience. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90 to $100 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all finance functions and performance.
  
  
• Provide strategic input on Operations and Finance.
  
  
• Attend Board and subcommittee meetings, providing financial reports.
  
  
• Manage department budgets and offer sound financial advice.
  
  
• Lead the annual audit process and liaise with auditors and the Audit Committee.
  
  
• Work with HR to manage the financial impact of employee benefits.
  
  
• Ensure all revenue sources are accurately reflected in financials and comply with GAAP and industry standards.
  
  
• Manage legal situations in collaboration with HR.
  
  
• Identify and implement best practices for internal procedures.
  
  
• Manage the Systems Department, ensuring adequate resource allocation.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
  
  
• CPA is preferred.
  
  
• 10+ years of senior experience leading finance teams in large nonprofit.
  
  
• Proven experience leading diverse teams in innovative and positive ways.
  
  
• Ability to translate detailed financial data for strategic use.
  
  
• Experience integrating systems to improve accounting productivity and accuracy.
  
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to results.
  
  
• Experience in change leadership and management.
  
  
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
