Production Planner

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 SUMMARY This position is responsible for the creation of shop orders and necessary shop packet documentation; schedules for and communicates production changes out to the shop floor. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Communicate with coworkers regarding delivery information and coordination of production plan to shop floor Review the MPS and MRP data and take appropriate actions required to issue, change or flag production orders to meet customer demand Ensure that there is adequate lead time to complete orders released to the shop floor and help develop a plan for items that need to be scheduled with short lead times (expedite) Work with Process Technicians to ensure that the approval process triggers new specification so that production can start without delay Perform other duties as required or requested SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Associate degree or equivalent work experience in Production Planning. QUALIFICATIONS Must have good communication skills in English Must have a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook Must have experience with SAP system, required PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT Work environment consists of mainly office setting but may go into manufacturing area periodically which may have exposure to noise, varying temperatures, and rubber smells. #J-18808-Ljbffr Precix
