Personal Care Assistant

Role: Personal Care Assistant responsible for delivering client-centered care in home settings. Responsibilities Include Following individualized aide plans and completing daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets. Providing basic personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulating, assisting with feeding, and using mobility aids. Encouraging clients' self-help activities while maintaining safety, infection control, and confidentiality. Performing secondary tasks like light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation within scope. Monitoring clients' conditions, reporting any changes or safety concerns promptly. Assisting only with medication self-administration, never administering medications directly. Adhering to all policies, procedures, and scope of practice, seeking guidance when needed. Qualifications High school diploma preferred; ability to read and write required. Minimum of 6 months caregiving experience, validated through references. Must be 18 years or older.
