Team Based Outpatient Therapist

Job Summary Team Based Outpatient Therapist provides mental health services including individual, group, and family therapy in the clinic, school, and client’s home. The therapist works within a team to provide intensive mental health to clients referred through the Wraparound, FSP, IFCCS programs. The therapist collaborates with the team to assess and link families to needed community services and coordinates all services received by the client. Documentation of services is performed according to DMH and Penny Lane guidelines. Responsibilities Provide individual, group, and family therapy in various settings (clinic, school, home). Assess clients and determine appropriate level of care, stabilize clients in crisis. Collaborate with team members and external agencies (DCFS, DMH, community agencies) to coordinate care. Document services per DMH and organizational guidelines. Maintain flexibility, time‑management and accountability with minimal supervision. Requirements Master’s degree in a related field (MFT, MSW, LPCC). Registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or the Board of Psychology. Bilingual Spanish required (verbal and written). Valid California driver’s license, current automobile insurance, clean driving record, and immediate access to a vehicle during work hours. Position Location North Hills, CA Salary and Benefits Salary Range: $77,726 - $98,616 per year. Additional $5,000 per year bilingual Spanish differential. Sign‑on bonus: $5,000 issued in two installments ($2,500 upon hire and $2,500 upon successful completion of the six‑month introductory period). Flexible schedules are available upon successful completion of introductory period. Eligible employees may request up to 5 days of paid time off to study for licensure.
