Solution Engineering Manager

Solution Engineering Manager – Remote (Germany) Lead and grow a high‑performing Solution Engineering team in Germany, supporting SailPoint’s identity governance business through technical expertise and strategic engagement. Key Responsibilities Hire, coach, and motivate a team of Solution Engineers to meet business objectives. Manage individual and team performance, ensuring high levels of productivity and effectiveness. Demonstrate analytical, problem‑solving, and management‑consulting skills to influence customers and stakeholders. Improve SailPoint sales methodology by developing product presentations and tailored demos for partners and customers. Identify training gaps, design and implement programs to enhance sales, product, and technical skills of the team. Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors on account planning, strategy, and sales activities. Provide timely insights to field sales, product management, and marketing teams. Maintain relationships with internal product teams and external decision makers. Support broader Solution Engineering and leadership teams with guidance and best practices. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineering Manager and 5+ years as a Sales Engineer. Strong understanding of SaaS solutions, identity and access principles, and AI‑driven security technologies. Excellent communication skills, capable of speaking to both technical experts and senior business stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience. Ability to lead conversations, solve complex problems, and drive customer success. Benefits & Compensation Remote role with travel required on a flexible basis.
