MRI Technologist

MRI technologists operate the magnetic resonance imaging scanner to create diagnostic images for physicians. They maintain imaging equipment and ensure that patients are protected and positioned optimally for imaging. They collaborate closely with physicians by taking medical histories and keeping records. Technologists adjust the scanner as directed by the physician. This role involves working in varying schedules, including weekends and on-call duties.
