Speech-Language Pathologist in Cortland, NY

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcome
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt services to students from varied backgrounds and needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student IEPs
• Provide direct and consultative SLP services in individual and group settings
• Document progress toward goals and maintain detailed records in compliance with regulations
• Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth
• Participate in IEP meetings and help develop goals tailored to each student
• Use technology and creative strategies to engage and motivate students
