School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Cortland, New York

This contract opportunity supports a caseload of approximately 35 students, offering a rewarding blend of direct speech therapy services, assessment, family collaboration, and partnership with educational teams.


In this role, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans
• Provide direct speech and language therapy tailored to each student's unique goals
• Partner with teachers and staff to implement effective accommodations and modifications
• Monitor progress meticulously, updating interventions to ensure ongoing student growth
• Participate in IEP meetings, helping set meaningful, measurable goals
• Offer guidance and resources to families and caregivers

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP license for the state or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Experience working with school-aged children is strongly preferred
• Strong skills in communication, organization, and teamwork
• Knowledge of IEP development and educational compliance
