Quality Technician (Inspector)
Volt is immediately hiring a Quality Technician / Inspector for a leading medical device manufacturing company in Seattle, WA (98109).
As a Quality Technician / Inspector you will:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on mechanical, electrical, PCB, and electromechanical components.
- Inspect products against engineering drawings, specifications, and workmanship standards.
- Verify product configurations, labeling, serial numbers, traceability, and manufacturing records.
- Use inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, microscopes, gauges, and inspection fixtures.
- Support calibration activities, audits, quality documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a Full Time, temp to hire opportunity.
Pay: $27-$31/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and microscopes.
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA.
- IPC-A-610 certification or PCB inspection experience
