Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and operate ICU equipment in collaboration with the care team.
- Supervises and directs activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other disciplines.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to support patient needs.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to applicable policies and procedures.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (California) or ability to obtain per requirements of the assignment
- ICU/critical care nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work nights and adapt to a night-shift schedule
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and independent judgment
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN)
