Dryer Line Operator: Rochelle, Illinois

Our customer in Rochelle, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Dryer Line Operators to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Dryer Line Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and controlling the operation of the dryer and filling machines for the process of manufacturing products according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities of the Dryer Line Operators :

• Set up and control operation of the dryer and filling machines
• Manufacture products according to customer specifications
• Follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards
• Monitor equipment and make necessary adjustments to maintain product requirements
• Record information accurately and communicate production or material issues as needed
• Work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Follow all plant rules, safety procedures, and food safety guidelines

Dryer Line Operators Requirements and Qualifications:

• Sufficient reading and writing skills in English to read cover sheets, setup forms, labels, and record information accurately
• Sufficient math skills to count or measure dry weights, calculate changes in inputs, number of boxes produced, and pounds produced
• Ability to pay attention to detail when operating equipment, making system checks, and recording data
• Ability to analyze data and make necessary system changes to keep finished product within required specifications
• Ability to lift at least 25 kg (55.115 pounds)
• Above-average work and attendance record
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment
• Must be able to communicate properly on material issues to the Extruder Operator
• Must be able to tolerate dust
• Must speak and read English only
• Must have clean-ish steel-toed boots
• Boot covers will be provided, so boots do not need to be brand new

Pay for Dryer Line Operators : Starting at $17.50/hour.

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 7:20pm. Training 7:00am-3:30pm.
