Contract Manager

Baptist Health is looking for a Contract Manager to join their Supply Chain team. This remote position requires residency in KY or IN. The role leads system-wide contracting of supplies, equipment, material, services and maintenance, focusing on procurement, contracting, and purchasing functions to drive savings and cost avoidance. The manager provides high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective service with a strong emphasis on customer service, performance measurement, benchmarking, and continuous process improvement. Responsibilities Assist in identifying and reviewing new and alternative product selections. Sourcing products within the vendor community and monitoring vendor performance. Building and maintaining business relationships with vendors. Negotiating contracts, including GPO, IDN, and hospital-specific contracts within service lines. Collaboration with leadership and system departments to achieve performance standards and portfolio management. Reporting on contractor performance and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Preferred clinical background such as nursing. Advanced certification in supply chain or healthcare administration preferred. 3+ years of experience in contracting, supply chain, or healthcare administration. Knowledge of key medical/surgical supplies and services. Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, negotiating, contracting, business law, cost containment, and expense management activities.
