Job Overview:

Shooters Waterfront is seeking exceptional Bartender candidates to join our service team. We are searching for friendly, energetic, and upbeat candidates who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant environment.

Reports to: Restaurant Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned).

• Provide exceptional guest service in a high-volume atmosphere, delivering a positive experience to all bar patrons.
• Present themselves professionally, maintaining a clean and approachable appearance while anticipating guests' needs.
• Be knowledgeable about the drink menu, specials, and ingredients to make recommendations and answer guest inquiries.
• Collaborate with teammates, including barbacks, servers, and kitchen staff, to ensure guest satisfaction and timely service.
• Remain positive and friendly when addressing customer complaints or issues, resolving them promptly and professionally.
• Assist with bar opening and closing duties, including stocking, cleaning, and preparing the bar area.
• Verify customer identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
• Safely lift and move items such as kegs, boxes, and other bar equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Comply with attendance rules and maintain regular availability for scheduled shifts.
• Promptly report emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items, and safety hazards to management.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of related experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar. 
• Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Comprehensive knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine is a must.
• Reliable, consistent work attendance is a requirement and essential function of this position.
