Job Summary:
The Strategic Accounts Sales Associate Manager Volleyball is responsible for supporting the
growth and management of Mizuno USA's strategic volleyball retail partners through exceptional
account management, sales analysis, product expertise, and cross-functional collaboration. This
role serves as a key liaison between strategic customers and internal departments, ensuring
seamless execution of seasonal initiatives, product launches, inventory management, and sales
programs.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in managing day-to-day relationships with strategic volleyball retail accounts
Prepare sales presentations, line reviews, and seasonal product assortments
Coordinate customer meetings, market appointments, and follow-up action items
Maintain strong communication with customers regarding product availability, launches,
promotions, and order status
Analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and sell-through data to identify growth
opportunities
Monitor account forecasts and assist with demand planning
Identify trends within the volleyball marketplace and recommend business strategies
Assist in managing allocations, backorders, and shipment priorities
Work proactively to resolve order issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction
Monitor EDI transactions and support order flow efficiencies
Develop expert knowledge of Mizuno Volleyball footwear, apparel, and equipment
Assist customers with assortment planning and merchandising strategies
Support product launch execution across strategic accounts
Coordinate sample requests and product seeding initiatives
Partner with Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure
successful execution of customer initiatives.
Support promotional planning and retail marketing activations.
Assist in coordinating athlete and event opportunities that support strategic customers.
Identify opportunities to increase distribution, average order value, and category expansion
within existing accounts.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Highly proficient in the following strategic account management functions: sales analysis &
forecasting, customer relationship management, business planning, cross-functional
collaboration, communication & presentation, negotiation, project management, data-
driven decision making
Must possess deep knowledge of the volleyball industry, volleyball equipment and apparel,
and the specialty sporting goods market
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/CRM systems
Experience with sales reporting and business analytics tools is a plus
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to customer visits, national sales meetings, industry
trade shows, volleyball tournaments, and key account presentations
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field preferred
35 years of sales, account management, or sporting goods industry experience
Experience working with strategic retail accounts is preferred
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer in an open office
Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and talking in corporate and trade settings
Travel by plane, car, or other transportation means
Must be able to lift up-to 15 pounds at times
