- PART-TIME After-School Nanny: Two Children aged 9 & 7 in Flatiron!## OverviewThis Flatiron family is seeking a part-time after-school nanny, approximately 15 hours per week, for their active children ages 9 and 7, beginning in September. The nanny will be responsible for school pick-ups, transportation to extracurricular activities, and assisting with the evening routine at home.There is flexibility to add a fourth day for additional hours, if desired.### The Ideal Candidate for this JobThe family is seeking a nanny who naturally embodies professionalism, reliability, and consistency. Someone who can confidently manage the after-school routine, keep the children on schedule, and serve as a dependable presence in their lives. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to take initiative are essential.Beyond that, they would love to find someone warm, engaging, and experienced with school-aged children. A nanny who can build meaningful connections with the children while maintaining appropriate boundaries and structure. The ideal candidate is organized, polished, and comfortable assisting with child-related household tasks, errands, and the day-to-day logistics that help keep a busy household running smoothly.### ScheduleThe core schedule is Monday through Wednesday 3 P.M. - 8 P.M.There is flexibility to add a 4th day for additional hours if needed.### About the ChildrenThe oldest is a 9 year old boy who loves tennis and baseball, as well as Legos and robotics!The youngest is a 7 year old girl who loves soccer, horseback riding, and creative play!### ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for picking one or both kids up from school on the UWS and taking them to after school activities. Once you return home you would then help with the evening routine (shower, homework, dinner, and sometimes bedtime.)On some days the children will not get out of school until 4:30 PM however, you would still report at 3 P.M. and be responsible for helping do other things for kids such as pickup groceries, clothing returns, help organize rooms, or keep their laundry moving.### Additional InformationThe family resides in Flatiron, and both children attend school on the Upper West Side.
