Fully Remote Certified Pharmacy TechnicianAs a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will evaluate and authorize approval of commercial prior authorization pharmacy requests from prescribers using clinical criteria in a call center environment.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and authorize approval of pharmacy requests based on clinical criteria, documenting prior authorization outcomes and communicating pharmacy benefit coverage and formulary alternatives.Determine the appropriateness of medications and communicate decisions to physicians, office staff, medical management, and pharmacists.Escalate requests requiring extensive clinical review to a pharmacist following clear guidelines.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDState registration/licenseNational Pharmacy Technician Certification required (PTCB or NHA).1+ years of experience in retail or call center pharmacy environmentWork EnvironmentThis is a 100% remote position.The role involves 8-hour shifts between 7:15am CST - 9 pm CST, 5 days a week.Shifts will be determined based on candidate availability, so please apply to discuss your availability.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
