Phlebotomist-Part Time

Job Summary Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Montclair and Union, NJ. Work Schedule: Monday: Montclair 9:00am-2:00pm Tuesday: Montclair 2:00pm-7:00pm Wednesday: Union 9:00am-3:00pm (off when working Saturday) Thursday: Montclair 9:00am-2:00pm Saturday: Union 9:00am-3:00pm (every other Saturday). Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. 1.5 years of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency (if in lieu of experience). Additional Job Standards Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Compensation Pay Range: $17.75 - $24.00 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Phlebotomist may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
