Occupational Therapist (FT or PT) Location: Burnsville, NC Join our team at Smoky Ridge Health & Rehabilitation in Burnsville, NC! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As an OT at Smoky Ridge, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and confidence in their daily lives. Occupational Therapist Responsibilities: Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients to identify physical, emotional, and social needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patient specific goals and needs Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including: Upper extremity injury, trauma, dysfunction, and pre/post surgical rehab Maximizing independence with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating Training patients and families in the use of specialized equipment Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that address patient specific goals and needs Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient progress and treatment plans Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy Occupational Therapist Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist New graduates and experienced therapist welcome Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed What We Offer: A dynamic and supportive work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development A chance to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients We offer our full-time therapists access to FREE CEU Credits! #J-18808-Ljbffr Brighton Healthcare Management
