Accountant

Subsidiary OmniSource Overview We are looking for a highly motivated individual to perform a variety of accounting functions including journal entries, account reconciliations, inventory management, and inter-company balancing. This position collaborates closely with the Division Manager, Controller, Yard Managers, Corporate Accounting, and Divisional Accounting personnel. Responsibilities Perform financial statement review and analysis Record journal entries Complete account reconciliations Create and update monthly forecasts Reconcile inter-company transactions Monitor and participate in perpetual inventory activities Assist with internal and external audit requests Assit with other daily and month-end accounting funcations, as needed Qualifications Required 4-Year Accounting degree At least 3 years of accounting experience Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Accounting software knowledge – experience with RIMAS a plus Strong oral and written comminication skills Preferred Active CPA Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers. #J-18808-Ljbffr OmniSource
