Professor of Instruction

Professor of Instruction (Finance) Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in real estate and finance. Teaching experience with synchronous and asynchronous online courses is highly desirable. Preference will be given to candidates with professional experience and those who have published, or are able to publish, in reputable real estate and finance journals. The chosen candidate is also expected to contribute to the real estate program and support the real estate center, with an emphasis on student success and outreach. Additional responsibilities include engaging in activities to attract new students to the program, maintaining AACSCB academic or professional qualifications, and serving the university and professional communities. Minimum Qualifications: A terminal qualification (PhD or DBA) in real estate, finance, or a closely related field in business and economics from an AACSB-accredited institution (in-process terminal degrees acceptable if all coursework is completed by May 2027 and a successful dissertation by August 2027). Evidence of excellence in teaching real estate or related courses and ability to teach upper-level and/or graduate courses at an AACSB-accredited institution. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated real estate thought leadership. Professional experience in real estate and the ability to engage with the business community. Meeting classification as a \"scholarly academic\" according to current AACSB standards.
