PCU RN Night Shift

Night Shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated PCU RN to join our team in a step-down unit with a diverse patient population. The unit operates on a Co-Care/Virtual Nursing Model, ensuring comprehensive care for every patient.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for diverse populations including cardiac, respiratory, and medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient status with a bedside RN to patient ratio of 1:4 and CNA to patient ratio of 1:6
• Collaborate with virtual nursing staff for admission, discharge, and care planning
• Administer medications and treatments based on established protocols
• Participate in safety rounds and patient education initiatives

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a similar setting
• Active Alaska RN license required prior to the start date (license must be obtained within 48 hours of signing)
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Experience with telemetry and various medical equipment preferred
