Summary About the Position: In this position, you will serve as an Administrative Support Specialist responsible for providing administrative, clerical, and office automation support to the Administrative Section and Project personnel at a major multi-purpose hydroelectric plant project. - Plan, coordinate, and evaluate administrative operations, procurement actions, and internal management plans for the organization.
- Serve as an authoritative Point of Contact for personnel processes including Pay and Leave, benefits, onboarding, clearance, and Project medical surveillance.
- Manage a Government Purchase Card (VISA) to procure supplies, services, and medical physicals; track purchases and reconcile monthly statements in the Corps of Engineers Financial Management System.
- Coordinate and process performance evaluations and incentive awards, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory criteria and funding documentation.
- Compose, review, and edit complex correspondence, briefing materials, and reports using office automation software to ensure compliance with command standards.
- Evaluate the impact of new or revised policies and procedures on current organizational practices.

- This position requires a 1 year probationary period during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest. Continued employment requires written certification that it advances the public interest.
- Direct deposit of pay is required.
- Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
