Research Assistant

Supporting the design and execution of applied research initiatives, the part-time hourly Research Assistant will collaborate on projects related to child welfare, juvenile justice, and behavioral health, contributing to data collection and analysis while translating findings for various stakeholders in a remote setting. Key responsibilities: Assist in the development and implementation of special research projects, including literature reviews and manuscript editing Collect and analyze data using quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods techniques from various sources Prepare and present research findings to internal and external teams and assist in developing research proposals for publications and conferences Required qualifications: Current graduate students encouraged to apply; coursework or experience in research methods, social sciences, public policy, or a related field preferred Familiarity with quantitative analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel and SPSS, as well as qualitative analysis programs like ATLAS.ti and Dedoose Experience with Qualtrics for survey creation, distribution, and analysis Detail-oriented with the ability to connect research findings to broader social impact trends Grant writing experience preferred but not required
