Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to backfill for an existing staff member. This position may require the acceptance of straight night shifts. The ideal candidate will support patients with varying medical needs in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical/surgical patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vitals and report any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions and treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of charge experience in a medical/surgical setting.
• Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license required.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred.
