Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled, mobile Facilities Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep and repair of our restaurant locations across the Colorado Front Range . In this role, you will travel between our regional sites to maintain commercial kitchen gear, refrigeration systems, and building structures. You will act as our first line of defense against equipment downtime, ensuring every location remains safe, compliant, and ready to serve our guests. A company service vehicle and tools are provided .
Key Responsibilities
· Multi-Site Travel: Travel daily between assigned restaurant locations along the Front Range to complete scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs.
· Commercial Kitchen Repair: Troubleshoot and fix hot-side equipment including commercial ovens, fryers, grills, and line equipment.
· Refrigeration & HVAC/R: Service, monitor, and repair cold-side systems including walk-in freezers, coolers, line prep tables, and ice machines.
· Plumbing & Electrical: Resolve restaurant-specific issues like clearing clogged drains, servicing grease traps, repairing leaks, and replacing light fixtures or outlets.
· Preventative Maintenance: Execute a strict preventative maintenance schedule across all sites (e.g., filter changes, coil cleanings, gasket replacements).
· On-Call Emergency Response: Provide rapid response to urgent, high-impact equipment failures to prevent food loss or operational shutdowns.
Qualifications & Skills
· Experience: 3+ years of experience in multi-unit commercial building maintenance, commercial kitchen repair, or HVAC/R.
· Travel Requirements: Valid Colorado driver’s license and a clean driving record are strictly required to operate the company vehicle.
· Certifications: EPA Universal or HVAC/R certification is highly preferred.
· Autonomy: Proven ability to manage a travel schedule, prioritize work orders independently, and communicate effectively with individual restaurant General Managers.
· Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in changing Colorado weather conditions.
