Duties Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles and automotive components using various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Identify issues related to automotive repair, auto restoration, or vehicle maintenance needs and document findings accurately. Verify compliance with safety standards and automotive service regulations during inspections. Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to communicate inspection results and recommend necessary repairs or adjustments. Perform routine checks on vehicle maintenance tasks to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain detailed records of inspections, including photographs, reports, and logs for future reference or compliance purposes. Support the use of various tools—such as hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment—to facilitate thorough inspections. Contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during all inspection activities. Experience Proven experience in automotive repair or auto body work is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in vehicle maintenance procedures is a plus. Hands‑on experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment in an automotive setting. Prior involvement in auto service inspections is a plus. Mechanic experience that demonstrates understanding of automotive systems and repair processes. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify issues accurately during inspections. Good communication skills to effectively document findings and collaborate with team members.
